Thoughts: Out of all of the Flashpoint titles, this is by far my favorite. It’s not just because I love Batman and Brian Azzarello. This book is truly amazing, seriously.
As usual, Azzarello does an amazing job taking the characters we know and love and putting them into different roles within the Batman universe, and everyone of them is fantastic. Not only that, but the entire story is just great.
If you don’t read any other Flashpoint title go pick this one and the previous issue up. I promise you that you will not regret it.
Visual Highlights
Butler Penguine
I completely adore the idea of Oswald Cobblepot being a "butler" to Thomas Wayne.
Renee and Harvey
I am very glad that they decided to include Montoya and Bullock.
There's nothing anyone can do...
I continue to love the fact that Thomas Wayne as Batman is not willing to take a life when it is needed.
Selina
This part of the issue was my favorite. The entire concept is wonderful and I love it!
Joker is crazy
This whole scene proves that the Joker of the Flashoint world may even be crazier than the Joker of the normal world.
