Ok, so I am confused by a few of things here. Firstly, why do they need to say that this movie is based off of the game of Battleship. In my opinion, wouldn’t it be better to just call the movie “Battleship” and not say anythign about it being based off the game, since the concept of a movie based off of Battleship the game is just ridiculous? Secondly, what the hell do aliens have to do with Battleship? Third, why, Liam Neeson, why? I really love Neeson as an actor, but I do not understand why he is putting himself in so many bad movies as of late.
Aside from Neeson, this movie sports an amazing cast (please note the sarcasm): Taylor Kitsch (yuck), Alexander Skarsgård (stick to being a sexy vampire, dude), Brooklyn Decker (who?), Rihanna (oh lord), Tadanobu Asano (you were in Thor, knock it off), Lil’ Mirkk (who?). I think I am just going to pass on this one, seriously.
